Gretchen, this is the side you've chosen. The right is full of sexists, racists, and homophobes. When their bile hits a little too close to home, you walk out. You can't really talk back too much, because they pull this shit all of the time. Now you know how minorities, gays, and liberals feel.
The back handed snide comments full of innuendo and dog whistles. You ignore it, until it's your group who they're attacking. Maybe, you'll wise up and join the sane people's side, but I doubt it.
